We run one-day Practitioner level courses in original and innovative holistic massage therapies.
The courses on offer at Traditional Massage Therapies and are designed with western clients and western therapists in mind while still retaining the ancient philosophies and authentic methods that make the treatments unique and will give you the practical, hands-on experience to perform the therapies safely and confidently. Each course includes extensive manuals that cover client consultation, record keeping, contraindications, health and safety as well as the history and background of the massage. All training is undertaken in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, offering the best of training at affordable prices.
Many of the courses on offer have been brought to the UK from abroad.
Courses are suitable for either existing practitioners and therapists seeking continual professional development, as well as being perfect 'starter' course for individual's who are just beginning their therapy career.
We try to ensure our courses are formally recognised with as many professional organisations and insurance companies as possible, as we appreciate that the majority of trained therapists don’t wont to change every time they add new treatments to their list of skills. However, it is impossible to cover them all and it is the responsibility of the attendee to check with their organisation whether they qualify for cover.
Courses are organised and taught by Terri McLean.
Terri is a practising nurse and holds nationally recognised qualifications in a number of holistic and complementary therapies. She also holds an adult teaching certificate, and is a fully insured member of the IPTI
